* coreboot: make use of smbios parserChristian Gmeiner2020-11-051-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | If u-boot gets used as coreboot payload it might be nice to get vendor, model and bios version from smbios. I am not sure about the output of all the read information. With qemu target for coreboot this could look this: CBFS: Found @ offset 14f40 size 3b188 Checking segment from ROM address 0xffc15178 Checking segment from ROM address 0xffc15194 Loading segment from ROM address 0xffc15178 code (compression=1) New segment dstaddr 0x01110000 memsize 0x889ef srcaddr 0xffc151b0 filesize 0x3b150 Loading Segment: addr: 0x01110000 memsz: 0x00000000000889ef filesz: 0x000000000003b150 using LZMA Loading segment from ROM address 0xffc15194 Entry Point 0x01110000 BS: BS_PAYLOAD_LOAD run times (exec / console): 77 / 1 ms Jumping to boot code at 0x01110000(0x07fa7000) U-Boot 2020.10-00536-g5dcf7cc590-dirty (Oct 07 2020 - 14:21:51 +0200) CPU: x86_64, vendor AMD, device 663h DRAM: 127.1 MiB MMC: Video: No video mode configured in coreboot! * env: Finish migration of common ENV optionsTom Rini2019-11-201-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - In ARMv8 NXP Layerscape platforms we also need to make use of CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR now, do so. - On ENV_IS_IN_REMOTE, CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET is never used, drop the define to 0. - Add Kconfig entry for ENV_ADDR. - Make ENV_ADDR / ENV_OFFSET depend on the env locations that use it. - Add ENV_xxx_REDUND options that depend on their primary option and SYS_REDUNDAND_ENVIRONMENT - On a number of PowerPC platforms, use SPL_ENV_ADDR not CONFIG_ENV_ADDR for the pre-main-U-Boot environment location. - On ENV_IS_IN_SPI_FLASH, check not for CONFIG_ENV_ADDR being set but rather it being non-zero, as it will now be zero by default. - Rework the env_offset absolute in env/embedded.o to not use CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET as it was the only use of ENV_OFFSET within ENV_IS_IN_FLASH. - Migrate all platforms. * env: Add CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR symbolTom Rini2019-11-201-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Today in initr_reloc_global_data() we use some non-obvious tests to determine if we need to relocate the env_addr within gd or not. In order to facilitate migration of other symbols to Kconfig we need to introduce a new symbol for this particular use case. * x86: coreboot: Add generic coreboot payload supportBin Meng2018-08-201-12/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently building U-Boot as the coreboot payload requires user to change the build configuration for a specific board during menuconfig process. This uses the board's native device tree to configure the hardware. For example, the device tree provides PCI address range for the PCI host controller and U-Boot will re-program all PCI devices' BAR to be within this range. In order to make sure we don't mess up the hardware, we should guarantee the range matches what coreboot programs the chipset. But we really should make the coreboot payload support easier. Just like EFI payload, we can create a generic coreboot payload for all x86 boards as well. The payload is configured to include as many generic drivers as possible. All stuff that touches low level initialization are not allowed as such is the coreboot's responsibility. Platform specific drivers (like gpio, spi, etc) are not included. * configs: Migrate CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKSTom Rini2018-08-161-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | We have the following cases: - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS was defined, migrate normally - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS_MAX was defined and then used for CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS after a check, just migrate it over now. - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS was very oddly defined on p2771-0000-* (to 1024 + 2), set this to 8. * Convert CONFIG_SPI to KconfigAdam Ford2018-04-271-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_SPI This partly involves updating code that assumes that CONFIG_SPI implies things that are specific to the MPC8xx SPI driver. For now, just update the CONFIG tests. This also involves reworking the default for CONFIG_SYS_DEF_EEPROM_ADDR so that we don't set it when we cannot make a reasonable default, as it does not cause any compile failures. * x86: Rename coreboot-x86 to corebootSimon Glass2018-04-161-0/+45
We only use coreboot as a target on x86 platforms, since on ARM platforms U-Boot always runs as the primary boot loader. Rename the coreboot-x86 platform to reflect this. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
