The Phoronix Test Suite is the most comprehensive testing and benchmarking platform available for Linux and is designed to carry out tests in a clean, reproducible, and easy-to-use manner. This software ships with over 50 test profiles and 20 test suites, but new custom tests can be easily added by writing an XML-based test profile. - The Phoronix Test Suite is open-source and licensed under the GNU GPLv3. However, some tests supported by the PTS are not open-source. To see the license of tests, run: phoronix-test-suite list-tests.
