* debugfs: Fix terminology inconsistency of dir name to mount debugfs filesystem.GeunSik Lim2009-06-151-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Many developers use "/debug/" or "/debugfs/" or "/sys/kernel/debug/" directory name to mount debugfs filesystem for ftrace according to ./Documentation/tracers/ftrace.txt file. And, three directory names(ex:/debug/, /debugfs/, /sys/kernel/debug/) is existed in kernel source like ftrace, DRM, Wireless, Documentation, Network[sky2]files to mount debugfs filesystem. debugfs means debug filesystem for debugging easy to use by greg kroah hartman. "/sys/kernel/debug/" name is suitable as directory name of debugfs filesystem. - debugfs related reference: http://lwn.net/Articles/334546/ Fix inconsistency of directory name to mount debugfs filesystem. * From Steven Rostedt - find_debugfs() and tracing_files() in this patch. * Convert files to UTF-8 and some cleanupsJan Engelhardt2007-10-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | * Convert files to UTF-8. * Also correct some people's names (one example is Eißfeldt, which was found in a source file. Given that the author used an ß at all in a source file indicates that the real name has in fact a 'ß' and not an 'ss', which is commonly used as a substitute for 'ß' when limited to 7bit.) * Correct town names (Goettingen -> Göttingen) * Update Eberhard Mönkeberg's address (http://lkml.org/lkml/2007/1/8/313) Signed-off-by: Jan Engelhardt <jengelh@gmx.de> Signed-off-by: Adrian Bunk <bunk@kernel.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
