Consolidate Makefile variables now that we have only a single global

configure script:
    $(SRCTOP) --> $(top_srcdir)
    $(srcdir)/$(thisconfigdir) --> $(top_srcdir)
    $(thisconfigdir) --> $(BUILDTOP)
    $(myfulldir) --> $(mydir)
