* cmd: mtdparts: accept spi-nand devicesMiquel Raynal2018-09-201-2/+5
| | | | | | | | | | Let spi-nand devices be recognized by mtdparts. This is superfluous but a full mtdparts rework would be very time-consuming. * SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini2018-05-072-6/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* cmd_mtdparts: use 64 bits for flash size, partition size & offsetPaul Burton2013-10-091-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | This matches the 64 bit size in struct mtd_info and allows the mtdparts command to function correctly with a flash >= 4GiB. Format specifiers for size & offset are given the ll length, matching its use in drivers/mtd in absence of something like inttypes.h/PRIx64. * JFFS2: drop support for LZARI compression modeWolfgang Denk2010-01-151-6/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Support for LZARI compression mode was added based on a MTD CVS snapshot of March 13, 2005. However, fs/jffs2/compr_lzari.c contains contradictory licensing terms: the original copyright clause says "All rights reserved. Permission granted for non-commercial use.", but later reference to the file 'LICENCE' in the jffs2 directory was added which says GPL v2 or later. As no boards ever used LZARI compression, and this file is also not present in recent MTD code, we resolve this conflict by removing the conflicting file and references to it. Also copy the referenced but missing file 'LICENCE' from the current MTD source tree. Signed-off-by: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de>

* UBI: Add basic UBI support to U-Boot (Part 6/8)Kyungmin Park2008-11-191-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds basic UBI (Unsorted Block Image) support to U-Boot. It's based on the Linux UBI version and basically has a "OS" translation wrapper that defines most Linux specific calls (spin_lock() etc.) into no-ops. Some source code parts have been uncommented by "#ifdef UBI_LINUX". This makes it easier to compare this version with the Linux version and simplifies future UBI ports/bug-fixes from the Linux version.
