* keymile: Factor out common includes againMario Six2019-05-211-275/+3
| | | | | | | | Not that the Kconfig conversion of a lot of variables is done, we can factor out the common include files for the keymile boards again (which now contain hardly any #ifdef logic at all). Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc>
* keymile: Remove CONFIG_SYS_APP{1, 2}_{BASE, SIZE}Mario Six2019-05-211-5/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_SYS_APP1_BASE, CONFIG_SYS_APP2_BASE, CONFIG_SYS_APP1_SIZE, and CONFIG_SYS_APP2_SIZE are no longer used in the keymile config files (they were used for setting values, which were converted to Kconfig earlier in the series). Remove them from the configs and the whitelist. Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc>
* mpc83xx: Get rid of CONFIG_SYS_LBC_*Mario Six2019-05-211-5/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Except for one counter example, CONFIG_SYS_LBC_LBCR always has a value of either 0x00040000 or 0x00000000. CONFIG_SYS_LBC_MRTPR always has the value 0x20000000. CONFIG_SYS_LBC_LSDMR_{1,2,4,5} are not set for any mpc83xx board. CONFIG_SYS_LBC_LSRT is set by one board (to 0x32000000). To simplify the configuration files, hardcode the setting of these values for mpc83xx. Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc>
* mpc83xx: Get rid of CONFIG_SYS_DDR_SDRAM_BASEMario Six2019-05-211-1/+0
| | | | | | | | CONFIG_SYS_DDR_SDRAM_BASE is set to the same value as CONFIG_SYS_SDRAM_BASE on all existing boards. Just use CONFIG_SYS_SDRAM_BASE instead. Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc>
* mpc83xx: Get rid of CONFIG_SYS_DDR_BASEMario Six2019-05-211-3/+2
| | | | | | | CONFIG_SYS_DDR_BASE is specific to mpc83xx an is always set to the same value as CONFIG_SYS_SDRAM_BASE. Just use CONFIG_SYS_SDRAM_BASE instead. Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc>
* mpc83xx: Migrate CONFIG_LCRR_* to KconfigMario Six2019-05-211-4/+0

* mpc83xx: Migrate CONFIG_SYS_{BR, OR}*_PRELIM to KconfigMario Six2019-05-211-12/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | Migrate the BR/OR settings to Kconfig. These must be known at compile time, so cannot be configured via DT. Configuration of this crucial variable should still be somewhat comfortable. Hence, make its fields configurable in Kconfig, and assemble the final value from these. Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc>
* mpc83xx: Simplify BR,OR linesMario Six2019-05-211-34/+12
| | | | | | | Re-format all BR,OR #define lines into single lines. This makes them harder to read, but accessible to semi-automatic replacement. Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc>
* mpc83xx: Normalize BR/OR option linesMario Six2019-05-211-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | All BR/OR option lines should have the same layout to make them easier to migrate to Kconfig. This includes using the same option macros everywhere. The normalize the lines, * replace function macros with their results, and * replace hardcoded hex values with standard macros Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc>
* mpc83xx: Migrate LBLAW_* to KconfigMario Six2019-05-211-13/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | The LBLAW_* values determine the window configuration of the memory controller. Hence, they must be known at compile time, and cannot be implemented in the DT mechanism. Configuration of this crucial variable should still be somewhat comfortable. Hence, make its fields configurable in Kconfig, and assemble the final value from these. Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc>
* mpc83xx: Migrate BATS config to KconfigMario Six2019-05-211-72/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | The BATs (block address translation registers) determine the initial memory window mappings. Hence, they must be known at compile time and cannot be implemented in the DT mechanism. Configuration of this crucial variable should still be somewhat comfortable. Hence, make its fields configurable in Kconfig, and assemble the final value from these. Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc>
* powerpc: Migrate HIGH_BATS to KconfigMario Six2019-05-211-2/+0

* mpc83xx: Kconfig: Migrate HRCW to KconfigMario Six2019-05-211-22/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The HRCW (hardware reset configuration word) is a constant that must be hard-coded into the boot loader image. So, it must be available at compile time, and cannot be migrated to the DT mechanism, but has to be kept in Kconfig. Configuration of this crucial variable should still be somewhat comfortable. Hence, make its fields configurable in Kconfig, and assemble the final value from these. Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc>
* keymile: Unroll km/km83xx-common.hMario Six2019-05-201-4/+283
| | | | | | | Simplify the keymile config files once more by unrolling the km/km83xx-common.h, and resolve the #ifdef logic as needed. Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc>
* keymile: Unroll includesMario Six2019-05-201-2/+114
| | | | | | | To further simplify config include files, unroll the km/km8309-common.h and km/km8321-common.h include files. Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc>
* keymile: Move config filesMario Six2019-05-201-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | We want to unroll several include files, while keeping include statements consistent. To make it easier to not break the include statements, move the include files to the main configs directory. All three include files moved will be unrolled, so they won't pollute the directory for long. Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc>
* keymile: Make distinct kmtegr1, kmvect1, suvd3 configsMario Six2019-05-201-94/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The kmtegr1, kmvect1, and suvd3 boards all use the same config include file with lots of #ifdefs in it. The Kconfig migation will become easier if we get rid of these #ifdefs first. Hence, create distinct config include files for these boards, and unwind the #ifdef logic in these config files to only include the options necessary for each board. * SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini2018-05-071-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* treewide: Convert CONFIG_HOSTNAME to a string optionMario Six2018-04-081-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | CONFIG_HOSTNAME is defined as a "plain" preprocessor string, but every use is couched by __stringify(...). Hence, convert it to a proper string option. Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc>
* configs: Migrate CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASETom Rini2018-02-111-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | On the NIOS2 and Xtensa architectures, we do not have CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE set. This is a strict migration of the current values into the defconfig and removing them from the headers. I did not attempt to add more default values in and for now will leave that to maintainers. * Kconfig: Migrate MTDIDS_DEFAULT / MTDPARTS_DEFAULTTom Rini2017-11-051-10/+0
| | | | | | | | | | We move all instances of CONFIG_MTDIDS_DEFAULT and CONFIG_MTDPARTS_DEFAULT from the header files to the defconfig files. There's a few cases here where we need to expand upon what was in the header file. Tested-by: Adam Ford <aford173@gmail.com> #omap3_logic Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* Convert CONFIG_BCH to KconfigAdam Ford2017-09-011-1/+0

* powerpc/83xx/km: add MV88E6122 switch support for kmvect1Karlheinz Jerg2013-02-151-0/+37
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | kmvect1 has a UEC2 connection to the piggy board and a UEC0 connection to the switch MV88E6122. This switch has a connection to a frontport ethernet interface. The ethernet port used for network booting is automatically selected by u-boot. If a Piggy is plugged, the Piggy port is selected (UEC2, eth1). If the Piggy isn't present, the Frontport is selected (UEC0, eth0). The switch reset is connected to a GPIO on the PRIO3 board FPGA (GPIO28) and released at startup. * ppc, 8321: cleanup tuxa1, tuda1 and suvd3 supportHeiko Schocher2011-04-301-112/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | For the kmsupx5 a new header file was introduced km8321-common.h. Now the common stuff from tuxa1, tuda1 and suvd3 was removed and the new header file included. The defines CONFIG_SYS_PIGGY_BASE and CONFIG_SYS_PIGGY_SIZE are confusing. Because they actually describe the KMBEC FPGA values. The KMBEC FPGA can be PRIO on kmeter1 or upio on mgcoge. Therefore all the defines were renamed. remove unneeded variable CONFIG_KM_DEF_NETDEV, as it is already declared in keymile-common.h Signed-off-by: Holger Brunck <holger.brunck@keymile.com> Signed-off-by: Heiko Schocher <hs@denx.de> Acked-by: Kim Phillips <kim.phillips@freescale.com> cc: Kim Phillips <kim.phillips@freescale.com> cc: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de> cc: Valentin Longchamp <valentin.longchamp@keymile.com>
