* common: Drop asm/global_data.h from common headerSimon Glass2021-02-021-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. In a number of cases this requires adding "struct udevice;" to avoid adding another large header or in other cases replacing / adding missing header files that had been pulled in, very indirectly. Finally, we have a few cases where we did not need to include <asm/global_data.h> at all, so remove that include. * armv7: ls102xa: Add workaround for DDR erratum A-008850Alison Wang2019-03-151-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | Barrier transactions from CCI400 need to be disabled till the DDR is configured, otherwise it may lead to system hang. The patch adds workaround to fix the erratum. * SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini2018-05-071-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

* arm: freescale: Rename initdram() to fsl_initdram()Simon Glass2017-04-121-1/+1
| | | | | | | This function name shadows a global name but is in fact different. This is very confusing. Rename it to help with the following refactoring. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* board_f: Drop setup_dram_config() wrapperSimon Glass2017-04-051-1/+3
| | | | | | | | By making dram_init_banksize() return an error code we can drop the wrapper. Adjust this and clean up all implementations. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>
* board_f: Drop return value from initdram()Simon Glass2017-04-051-2/+4
| | | | | | | | | At present we cannot use this function as an init sequence call without a wrapper, since it returns the RAM size. Adjust it to set the RAM size in global_data instead, and return 0 on success. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>
* board_f: Drop board_type parameter from initdram()Simon Glass2017-04-051-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | It looks like only cm5200 and tqm8xx use this feature, so we don't really need it in generic code. Drop it and have the users access gd->board_type directly. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>
