* common: Drop asm/global_data.h from common headerSimon Glass2021-02-021-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. In a number of cases this requires adding "struct udevice;" to avoid adding another large header or in other cases replacing / adding missing header files that had been pulled in, very indirectly. Finally, we have a few cases where we did not need to include <asm/global_data.h> at all, so remove that include. * | rpi4: add a mapping for the PCIe XHCI controller MMIO registers (ARM 32bit)Marek Szyprowski2020-07-101-0/+21
|/ | | | | | | | | Create a non-cacheable mapping for the 0x600000000 physical memory region, where MMIO registers for the PCIe XHCI controller are instantiated by the PCIe bridge. Due to 32bit limit in the CPU virtual address space in ARM 32bit mode, this region is mapped at 0xff800000 CPU virtual address. Signed-off-by: Marek Szyprowski <m.szyprowski@samsung.com>

* rpi4: Update memory map to accommodate scb devicesAmit Singh Tomar2020-01-291-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Some of the devices(for instance, pcie and gnet controller) sitting on SCB bus falls behind/below the memory range that we currenty have. This patch updates the memory range to map those devices correctly. * common: Move some cache and MMU functions out of common.hSimon Glass2019-12-021-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | These functions belong in cpu_func.h. Another option would be cache.h but that code uses driver model and we have not moved these cache functions to use driver model. Since they are CPU-related it seems reasonable to put them here. Move them over. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* ARM: bcm283x: Set memory map at run-timeMatthias Brugger2019-11-241-0/+92
| | | | | | | | For bcm283x based on arm64 we also have to change the mm_region. Add assign this in mach_cpu_init() so we can create now one binary for RPi3 and RPi4. Signed-off-by: Matthias Brugger <mbrugger@suse.com>
* ARM: bcm283x: Set rpi_bcm283x_base at run-timeMatthias Brugger2019-11-241-2/+18
| | | | | | | As part of the effort to create one binary for several bcm83x SoCs we read the IO base address from device-tree. Signed-off-by: Matthias Brugger <mbrugger@suse.com>
* ARM: bcm283x: Move BCM283x_BASE to a global variableMatthias Brugger2019-11-241-0/+8
| | | | | | | | We move the per SOC define BCM283x_BASE to a global variable. This is a first step to provide a single binary for several bcm283x SoCs. Signed-off-by: Matthias Brugger <mbrugger@suse.com>
* SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini2018-05-071-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* RPi: Enable caches for rpi2Alexander Graf2016-03-271-0/+7
| | | | | | | | Now that we have support for running with caches enabled in HYP mode, opt in to that on the Raspberry Pi 2. This brings a significant performance boost. Signed-off-by: Alexander Graf <agraf@suse.de>
* Add more SPDX-License-Identifier tagsTom Rini2016-01-191-8/+1
| | | | | | | | | In a number of places we had wordings of the GPL (or LGPL in a few cases) license text that were split in such a way that it wasn't caught previously. Convert all of these to the correct SPDX-License-Identifier tag. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* ARM: bcm283x: merge BCM2835/BCM2836 directories into mach-bcm283xMasahiro Yamada2015-03-281-0/+24
BCM2835 (used on Raspberry Pi) and BCM2836 (used on Raspberry Pi 2) are similar enough. One of the biggest differences is the ARM processor. It is reasonable to collect the source files into a single place, arch/arm/mach-bcm283x/.
