Luke, your comment was: put unicode strings after SAMLOGON query regardless of whether it's an NT mailslot or a non-NT mailslot, after having observed this behaviour out of NT machines. perhaps you could post the relevant tcpdump or netmon capture so we can see what is going on? I suspect that what you saw isn't exactly what the win95 boxes are generating. Maybe you saw a GETDCxxx instead of a GETDC000 ? Maybe we need a switch based on the GETDC request type? We won't know unless we see sniffs.
