Click SystemPreferencesSound
and select the Sound Effects tab.
Choose a Sound Theme other than No sounds.
Check Enable window and button sounds.
Make sure that the Alert volume is turned up and that
Mute is not checked.
A short sound will be played whenever you click a button on the screen.
You can change which sound is made by changing the Sound Theme.
