 Turn bluetooth on or off

You can turn Bluetooth on to send and receive files, but turn it off to conserve power.

To turn Bluetooth on, click the Bluetooth icon in the top bar, then toggle the Bluetooth slider so that it reads as ON.

If you are connecting to another Bluetooth device for the first time, you will also need to set the Visibility slider to ON. This will allow your device to be seen by other Bluetooth devices.

To turn bluetooth off, change the Bluetooth slider to the OFF position.
