+ panels contain menus, so you can use a combination of menus and panels to
+ perform your tasks. </para>

+ menu as a window and copy menu items to panels.</para>

+ <guimenu>Global Menu</guimenu> is your primary menu. You can access
+ almost all of the applications, commands, and configuration options on your
+ desktop from the

+ <guimenu>Main Menu</guimenu>: The
+ <guimenu>Main Menu</guimenu> is a customized
+ <guimenu>Global Menu</guimenu>. You can have many

+ <guimenu>Main Menu</guimenu>.</para>

+ standard applets that you can use on your desktop.</para>

+ item is a submenu. When you point to the submenu, the submenu opens and you can
+ choose items from the submenu.</para>
+ <para>When you choose a launcher, the launcher starts an
+ application or runs a command. When you choose an applet from a menu, the
+ applet is added to a panel.</para>
+ <para>You can right-click on a launcher or applet to open a popup
+ menu. The popup menu enables you to add the item to a panel or to the
+ <guimenu>Favorites</guimenu> menu. For more information on the

+ <para>You can specify global preferences for all menus in the <application>
+ Control Center</application>. For example, you can select an option to display
+ large icons in your menus.</para>
+ <para>You can change the GNOME system settings for menu in the
+ <application> Panel</application> capplet. The system settings for menus are

+ <guilabel>Menu</guilabel> tabbed section. You can also change the theme
+ for your session to change how all your menus look. You can change the theme in
+ the <application>Theme Selector</application> capplet.</para>

+ <title>Menu Item Popup Menus</title>
+ <para>Menu items have an associated popup menu that enables you to add
+ the item to your panels and to your
+ <guimenu>Favorites</guimenu> menu. When you right-click on the title of
+ an item in a menu, the popup menu for the menu, launcher, or applet opens. This
+ menu is different for menus, launchers, and applets. </para>
+ <para>You can use the popup menu to perform the following tasks: </para>

+ as a menu object or as a drawer object. </para>

+ <guimenu> Programs</guimenu> menu at the top level of the
