Tests must be run as root on machine with sfcbd broker. There are number of environment variables, that affect test running: LMI_CIMOM_USERNAME LMI_CIMOM_PASSWORD LMI_CIMOM_BROKER LMI_CIMOM_URL LMI_RUN_DANGEROUS - valid values: 0, 1 LMI_SOFTWARE_USE_CACHE - valid values: 0, 1 - says, whether to use cache to download rpm packages, which will be used to speed up testing LMI_SOFTWARE_CACHE_DIR - directory, where to store rpm packages and other information - if not set and LMI_SOFTWARE_USE_CACHE == '1', a temporary directory will be created and deleted, when tests are complete Simple usage: Each test module can be run as a stand-alone script or with run_tests.py script: $ ./run_tests.py -c --cache-dir=/var/tmp To pass any arguments to underlying unittest.main() function, append them after "--" swith like this: $ ./run_tests.py -c --cache-dir=/var/tmp -- -v TestSoftwarePackage All environment variables defined above can be overriden by command-line arguments.
