* dm: Drop the block_dev_desc_t typedefSimon Glass2016-03-141-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Use 'struct' instead of a typdef. Also since 'struct block_dev_desc' is long and causes 80-column violations, rename it to struct blk_desc. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Tested-by: Stephen Warren <swarren@nvidia.com>
* fs: API changes enabling extra parameter to return size of type loff_tSuriyan Ramasami2014-11-231-3/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The sandbox/ext4/fat/generic fs commands do not gracefully deal with files greater than 2GB. Negative values are returned in such cases. To handle this, the fs functions have been modified to take an additional parameter of type "* loff_t" which is then populated. The return value of the fs functions are used only for error conditions. * sandbox: Prepare API change for files greater than 2GBSuriyan Ramasami2014-11-231-2/+4
| | | | | | | | Change the internal sandbox functions to use loff_t for file offsets. Signed-off-by: Suriyan Ramasami <suriyan.r@gmail.com> Acked-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* fs: implement size/fatsize/ext4sizeStephen Warren2014-08-091-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | These commands may be used to determine the size of a file without actually reading the whole file content into memory. This may be used to determine if the file will fit into the memory buffer that will contain it. In particular, the DFU code will use it for this purpose in the next commit. * sandbox: implement exists() functionStephen Warren2014-02-191-0/+1
| | | | | | | | This hooks into the generic "file exists" support added in an earlier patch, and provides an implementation for the sandbox test environment. Signed-off-by: Stephen Warren <swarren@nvidia.com> Acked-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* sandbox: fs: Add support for saving files to host filesystemSimon Glass2013-05-011-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | This allows write of files from the host filesystem in sandbox. There is currently no concept of overwriting the file and removing its existing contents - all writing is done on top of what is there. This means that writing 10 bytes to the start of a 1KB file will only update those 10 bytes, not truncate the file to 10 byte slong. If the file does not exist it is created.
