* arm: socfpga: clean up board config filesSimon Goldschmidt2019-04-251-11/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | Remove outdated defines (not used any more, outdated due to DM conversion) from various socfpga files in include/config. Signed-off-by: Simon Goldschmidt <simon.k.r.goldschmidt@gmail.com> Acked-by: Marek Vasut <marex@denx.de> Series-version: 3 Series-changes: 2 - added (this) patch with further cleanups to the socfpga board config files
* Convert CONFIG_ENV_SPI_* to KconfigPatrick Delaunay2019-03-251-4/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_ENV_SPI_BUS CONFIG_ENV_SPI_CS CONFIG_ENV_SPI_MAX_HZ CONFIG_ENV_SPI_MODE Most of time these value are not needed, CONFIG_SF_DEFAULT with same value is used, so I introduced CONFIG_USE_ENV_SPI_* to force the associated value for the environment. * Convert CONFIG_SF_DEFAULT_* to KconfigPatrick Delaunay2019-03-251-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_SF_DEFAULT_BUS CONFIG_SF_DEFAULT_CS CONFIG_SF_DEFAULT_MODE CONFIG_SF_DEFAULT_SPEED I use moveconfig script and then manual check on generated u-boot.cfg to solve the remaining issue. * treewide: Move CONFIG_PHY_MARVELL to KconfigMario Six2018-05-141-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | The CONFIG_PHY_MARVELL has already been migrated to Kconfig (some boards already had it in their Kconfig), but had not been moved for older boards. Move it to the defconfigs for all boards. Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc> Acked-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com>
* SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini2018-05-071-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* bootcount: Migrate CONFIG_SYS_BOOTCOUNT_ADDRTom Rini2018-02-251-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Migrate the users of CONFIG_SYS_BOOTCOUNT_ADDR to Kconfig. We can provide a default for BOOTCOUNT_AM33XX as that's a specific part of the RTC in use. We can also provide a default for ARCH_LS1043A and ARCH_LS1021A as they had been previously calculated and their symbols are in Kconfig. In the case of other QE-enabled platforms, they are not so we must update the relevant defconfig files. The previous default only applied in some cases, even on a specific SoC family. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | All Socfpga boards from ./include/configs/socfpga_* define CONFIG_HW_WATCHDOG. To ease CONFIG_HW_WATCHDOG conversion to Kconfig select it in config ARCH_SOCFPGA (arch/arm/Kconfig) section. * arm: socfpga: sr1500 use environment in common headerDalon Westergreen2017-04-141-28/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This removes the default environment from the sr1500 header and instead uses the common environment provided in socfpga_common.h which now uses distro boot. This board has no upstream devicetree in the kernel source, so set to socfpga_cyclone5_sr1500.dtb. * flash: complete CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH move with renamingMasahiro Yamada2017-02-121-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We repeated partial moves for CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH, but this is not completed. Finish this work by the tool. During this move, let's rename it to CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH. Actually, we have more instances of "#ifndef CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH" than those of "#ifdef CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH". Flipping the logic will make the code more readable. Besides, negative meaning symbols do not fit in obj-$(CONFIG_...) style Makefiles. This commit was created as follows: [1] Edit "default n" to "default y" in the config entry in common/Kconfig. [2] Run "tools/moveconfig.py -y -r HEAD SYS_NO_FLASH" [3] Rename the instances in defconfigs by the following: find . -path './configs/*_defconfig' | xargs sed -i \ -e '/CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH=y/d' \ -e 's/# CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH is not set/CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH=y/' [4] Change the conditionals by the following: find . -name '*.[ch]' | xargs sed -i \ -e 's/ifndef CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH/ifdef CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH/' \ -e 's/ifdef CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH/ifndef CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH/' \ -e 's/!defined(CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH)/defined(CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH)/' \ -e 's/defined(CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH)/!defined(CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH)/' [5] Modify the following manually - Rename the rest of instances - Remove the description from README - Create the new Kconfig entry in drivers/mtd/Kconfig - Remove the old Kconfig entry from common/Kconfig - Remove the garbage comments from include/configs/*.h Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com>

* arm: socfpga: Fix SR1500 env positionMarek Vasut2016-03-201-7/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Move the inclusion of the common socfpga configuration file further down in the sr1500 configuration, so that the socfpga_common.h can check if environment is in SPI NOR and it's location is defined and if it is not, define default location.
