* dm: treewide: Rename auto_alloc_size members to be shorterSimon Glass2020-12-131-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | This construct is quite long-winded. In earlier days it made some sense since auto-allocation was a strange concept. But with driver model now used pretty universally, we can shorten this to 'auto'. This reduces verbosity and makes it easier to read. Coincidentally it also ensures that every declaration is on one line, thus making dtoc's job easier. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* treewide: convert devfdt_get_addr() to dev_read_addr()Masahiro Yamada2020-07-251-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When you enable CONFIG_OF_LIVE, you will end up with a lot of conversions. To generate this commit, I used coccinelle excluding drivers/core/, include/dm/, and test/ The semantic patch that makes this change is as follows: <smpl> @@ expression dev; @@ -devfdt_get_addr(dev) +dev_read_addr(dev) </smpl> Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com>
* Revert "Merge tag 'dm-pull-20jul20' of git://git.denx.de/u-boot-dm"Tom Rini2020-07-241-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | This reverts commit 5d3a21df6694ebd66d5c34c9d62a26edc7456fc7, reversing changes made to 56d37f1c564107e27d873181d838571b7d7860e7. Unfortunately this is causing CI failures: https://travis-ci.org/github/trini/u-boot/jobs/711313649 Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

* common: Drop log.h from common headerSimon Glass2020-05-181-0/+1
| | | | | | Move this header out of the common header. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* dm: core: Create a new header file for 'compat' featuresSimon Glass2020-02-051-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | At present dm/device.h includes the linux-compatible features. This requires including linux/compat.h which in turn includes a lot of headers. One of these is malloc.h which we thus end up including in every file in U-Boot. Apart from the inefficiency of this, it is problematic for sandbox which needs to use the system malloc() in some files. Move the compatibility features into a separate header file. * reset: Rename free() to rfree()Simon Glass2020-02-051-1/+1
| | | | | | | | This function name conflicts with our desire to #define free() to something else on sandbox. Since it deals with resources, rename it to rfree(). Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

* SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini2018-05-071-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

* reset: uniphier: fix compatible for SD reset node for LD11/LD20Masahiro Yamada2017-08-301-1/+5

* reset: uniphier: refactor reset data and add NAND/eMMC reset linesMasahiro Yamada2017-08-201-46/+17
| | | | | | | | | | | | | - Merge sys_reset data of LD4, Pro4, sLD8 and Pro5 - Merge sys_reset data of LD11 and LD20 - Use primitive UNIPHIER_RESETX() macro because bit assignments for system reset will be changed for every SoC in the future - Add NAND and eMMC resets Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com>
* ARM: uniphier: remove sLD3 SoC supportMasahiro Yamada2017-08-201-11/+3

* ARM: uniphier: fix various sparse warningsMasahiro Yamada2017-06-251-9/+9
| | | | | | | | | | Fix warnings reported by sparse: - ... was not declared. Should it be static?" - cast to restricted __be32 While fixing those, the type conflict of cci500_init() was found. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com>
* dm: Rename dev_addr..() functionsSimon Glass2017-06-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | These support the flat device tree. We want to use the dev_read_..() prefix for functions that support both flat tree and live tree. So rename the existing functions to avoid confusion. In the end we will have: 1. dev_read_addr...() - works on devices, supports flat/live tree 2. devfdt_get_addr...() - current functions, flat tree only 3. of_get_address() etc. - new functions, live tree only All drivers will be written to use 1. That function will in turn call either 2 or 3 depending on whether the flat or live tree is in use. Note this involves changing some dead code - the imx_lpi2c.c file. * dm: Use dm.h header when driver mode is usedSimon Glass2017-06-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | This header includes things that are needed to make driver build. Adjust existing users to include that always, even if other dm/ includes are present Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
