* mmc: ftsdc010_mci: Sync compatible with DT mmc nodeRick Chen2018-05-291-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | The compatible string of ftsdc010_mci.c is different from the mmc driver in Linux Kernel. Modify it for consistency. Signed-off-by: Rick Chen <rick@andestech.com> Signed-off-by: Rick Chen <rickchen36@gmail.com> Cc: Greentime Hu <green.hu@gmail.com>
* SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini2018-05-071-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* mmc: ftsdc010: Merge nds32_mmc to ftsdc010Rick Chen2018-03-301-6/+133
| | | | | | | | | | nsd32_mmc was created to support ftsdc010 dm. It is not necessary to separate both, so merge it to ftsdc010. Signed-off-by: Rick Chen <rick@andestech.com> Signed-off-by: Rick Chen <rickchen36@gmail.com> Cc: Greentime Hu <green.hu@gmail.com>
* mmc: ftsdc010: Drop non-dm codeRick Chen2018-03-301-98/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | Only three defconfig(adp-ag101p_defconfig, adp-ae3xx_defconfig, nx25-ae250_defconfig) set CONFIG_FTSDC010=y. And they all also enable CONFIG_DM_MMC. So the non-dm code of ftsdc010 can be dropped now. Signed-off-by: Rick Chen <rick@andestech.com> Signed-off-by: Rick Chen <rickchen36@gmail.com> Cc: Greentime Hu <green.hu@gmail.com>

* mmc: change the set_ios return type from void to intJaehoon Chung2017-01-111-1/+3
| | | | | | To maintain consistency, set_ios type of legacy mmc_ops changed to int. Signed-off-by: Jaehoon Chung <jh80.chung@samsung.com>
* treewide: replace #include <asm/errno.h> with <linux/errno.h>Masahiro Yamada2016-09-231-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Now, arch/${ARCH}/include/asm/errno.h and include/linux/errno.h have the same content. (both just wrap <asm-generic/errno.h>) Replace all include directives for <asm/errno.h> with <linux/errno.h>. * mmc: use the generic error numberJaehoon Chung2016-08-051-5/+5

* mmc: Split mmc struct, rework mmc initialization (v2)Pantelis Antoniou2014-03-241-32/+22
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The way that struct mmc was implemented was a bit of a mess; configuration and internal state all jumbled up in a single structure. On top of that the way initialization is done with mmc_register leads to a lot of duplicated code in drivers. Typically the initialization got something like this in every driver. struct mmc *mmc = malloc(sizeof(struct mmc)); memset(mmc, 0, sizeof(struct mmc); /* fill in fields of mmc struct */ /* store private data pointer */ mmc_register(mmc); By using the new mmc_create call one just passes an mmc config struct and an optional private data pointer like this: struct mmc = mmc_create(&cfg, priv); All in tree drivers have been updated to the new form, and expect mmc_register to go away before long. Changes since v1: * Use calloc instead of manually calling memset. * Mark mmc_register as deprecated. Signed-off-by: Pantelis Antoniou <panto@antoniou-consulting.com>
* mmc: Convert mmc struct's name array to a pointerPantelis Antoniou2014-03-241-1/+1
| | | | | | | Using an array is pointless; even more pointless (and scary) is using sprintf to fill it without a format string. Signed-off-by: Pantelis Antoniou <panto@antoniou-consulting.com>
* mmc: Remove ops from struct mmc and put in mmc_opsPantelis Antoniou2014-03-241-4/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove the in-structure ops and put them in mmc_ops with a constant pointer to it. This makes the mmc structure smaller as well as conserving code space (in theory). All in-tree drivers are converted as well; this is done in a single patch in order to not break git bisect. Changes since V1: Fix compilation b0rked issue on omap platforms where OMAP_GPIO was not set. Signed-off-by: Pantelis Antoniou <panto@antoniou-consulting.com>

| * mmc: ftsdc010_mci: fix build error if CONFIG_FTSDC010_SDIO is not definedGabor Juhos2013-07-241-1/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The FTSDC010_DCR_FIFO_RST symbol is conditionally defined in <faraday/ftsdc010.h> and it is available available when CONFIG_FTSDC010_SDIO is enabled. However the actual driver code unconditionally uses the FTSDC010_DCR_FIFO_RST constant and this causes build error if CONFIG_FTSDC010_SDIO is not enabled. The following error happens when compiling for the adp-ag101 board: ftsdc010_mci.c: In function 'ftsdc010_request': ftsdc010_mci.c:178: error: 'FTSDC010_DCR_FIFO_RST' undeclared (first use in this function) ftsdc010_mci.c:178: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once ftsdc010_mci.c:178: error: for each function it appears in.) The patch ensures that the FTSDC010_DCR_FIFO_RST symbol gets used only if CONFIG_FTSDC010_SDIO is defined. Compile tested only. * mmc: update Faraday FTSDC010 for rw performanceKuo-Jung Su2013-05-151-0/+377
Faraday FTSDC010 is a MMC/SD host controller. Although there is already a driver in current u-boot release, which is modified from eSHDC and contributed by Andes Tech. Its performance is too terrible on Faraday A36x SoC platforms, so I turn to implement this new version of driver which is 10+ times faster than the old one. It's carefully designed to be compatible with Andes chips, so it should be safe to replace it.
